Every account starts free. Paid tiers add more usage, more models, and team features — current tiers and pricing live at rivenai.io/pricing.

Plan tiers#

Riven offers a Free tier, pay-as-you-go, a personal Pro subscription, and Team / Enterprise plans billed per seat. Your plan determines your usage allowance and which models you can use — Models & usage marks tier availability per model. For company packaging, see Riven Business Suite.

Checking your usage#

• In the product: Chat → Settings → Stats shows your plan, usage this period, and an upgrade path.
• From the API: GET /billing/quota with your API key returns your plan and limits — see the API reference. Spend aggregation is asynchronous, so recent usage can take time to appear.

Upgrading#

Upgrade from rivenai.io/pricing or the upgrade button in Settings → Stats. Plan changes take effect immediately and apply to Chat, Computer, and API usage alike.

Developer keys and billing#

API usage with a developer key is metered against the same account plan. Keys are self-serve — mint, rotate, and revoke without contacting anyone — see Authentication & keys.
